I finally finished the Ellison building. I'm real happy with the results, but it sure took it's sweet time getting done. Since I described the making of this in a previous post I'll just show off the (mostly) finished product. (I still need to glue the bottom floor to the top four stories, as well as the corner column.)

I should have some more figures to post tomorrow, and if all goes well I'll have the second block too.

That looks bloody brilliant!
Perfect for the subject matter, and a host of other uses.

Thank you Mason, Dijit, Earther and Jimbibbly. It's finally coming together. I look forward to seeing how the players use the space. Been working toward having this ready for Rock-Con next weekend, but I'll continue adding buildings and street furniture after that. If nothing else I need to make a whole lot more billboards and neon signs to dress the place up. Can't wait to see my Colonial Marines search through this city on a bug hunt.

Oh, and Commander Viper, I do plan on posting a making-of for the street lights, but that will be after next week.

I got some figures to show off, as well as the second city block. First off there's Alice White and the Slippery Dwarves. This was a Foundry Street Violence blister I bought back in the day, but never got around to painting. We had a need for a Snow White mini for B-Movie, so I finally had to paint it. I'm convinced the whole reason Mike likes to run the game is because it forces us to finish off minis.

Next, a pair of large gentlemen who might be engaged in illegal activities... (also Foundry Street violence)

Then, there's the King... (I think it's RAFM's Pretender #1)

Here are a pair of robots. One of classic design and her rather innocent younger brother... (both Reaper Chronoscope)

and here is the second city block. This one features an alley that runs across the main road. There are seven pieces to this set up. Plenty of parts to lose over time.

and finally, a shot with some stuff on the second block, just to see if I have enough to fill the scene. Of course I want more, but this will work for now.

Looking good. Next step is to find a solution to store it right - I'd hate for you to lose anything!

Those Halo boardgame pieces look great when painted & weathered.  Wonderful table and minis.  Would love to drool over a proper Batrep when you have one.
This is my boomstick!

One final update before Rock-Con. I got these finished just in time. First, a pair of road arches. These are a combination of traffic light, road sign holder and electronic toll booth. What they really are is something to break up the road and sidewalk lines.

Next is a police monitor tower. It's a re-painted cat toy that shoots a rotating laser out of the little nozzle sticking out of the top. It needs more detail painting in the future, but for now I think it looks pretty cool.

And finally, the building that started it all. I just got done painting these added surface elements this morning.

I'm still happy with the look of the Gibson Building, but I'm not sure it'll match the rest of the terrain. Then again I'm probably over thinking this. This is all I have for now. I should have some photos from the B-Movie game next week, so long as I get someone to take pictures for me.

This is a reply that you not going to like.  ;) The reason it won´t fit is because it is to big compared to your other Buildings. You need to make buildings that "dwarf" it.
It should be old and small, but somehow managed not to be razed down. A bit like those 17th Century houses that remains today, lodged in between glass giants.  :)
