Chess. When one of my friends heard I've put a Chess feature to the forum, he said, we dont need stuff like this. Who knows, perhaps he's right and we really don't. But I would like to try this. I like chess and would like to play it regularly. So maybe someone from the forum likes chess too and we could play some games. I'm not a good chess player but that doesn't matter, only fun matters. Btw, you don't need to be a supporting member to play chess

UUhhhh you struck a nerve there, best News so far!! Prepare to win some games against me ^^
Oh sure. Everybody's in favor of saving Hitler's brain, but when you put it in the body of a Great White Shark, ooh, suddenly you've gone too far

better?

Not in Firefox (and on my monitor), unfortunately. They still look almost identical to me. There needs to be much more difference between them for it to be a useful feature. Maybe it's just my eyes?

Actually, looking at the main page I can see the difference now. But it still could do with being much more marked. Two completely different colours, perhaps?

maybe it's just your temporary internet files cache, you have to reload the site or maybe empty the cache and open the forum again, imho the buttons are quite different now :)

you didnt start a challenge but a Quickmatch, a challenge without an opponent. If you want to challenge, just type in the name of a member and enter, the next window will appear where you will be able to write a short message, choose the layout and send it.

quickmatch is a sort of challenge on call, everyone can choose and accept that

The new colours for new/not-new topics was definately much better than before! It's good to see the forementioned teutonic effeciency at work at the forum as well, hehe.

And - wow - over 700 members now too!
Of course, I guess a fair number of these are dormant or lapsed, but nonetheless, it's quite a community.
Onwards to 1,000 - then we can start lobbying properly  ;)

supporting members are able to start own Gallery, Calender Events, post attachments (images/files) to the topics, and able to upload files to the Downloads section.
