Everyone stop painting so quick, mine is still a few days away!

lol

I know how you feel... I was itching to get in on the Pulp painting club, but just couldn't quite get my act together in time.
Luckily, this time, I had a pile of half finished Wars of the Roses stuff languishing on the paint table, so I'm finishing those off pretty quickly.
Plus I'm back into painting in a big way after a break of several months - so I'm in a productive mode right now...
But I don't want to hog the thing, so will wait until tomorrow before posting the next one - even though I have lots more almost ready  :)

Giving you chaps a chance to catch up...
169 spaces still to fill - get a wriggle on though... I can't hold off forever  :)

No.32

Here is one of the Almohavid Berber horsemen I painted this weekend

I'm currently painting some Perry Miniatures Muslim Civilians so will post one of those when I finish the bases - hopefully tomorrow.

No 35. Swiss Halbardier - battle of Nancy 1477.

I've had this figure for sometime, so this was a great opportunity to paint him up.

He's made by.... well, perhaps I can briefly digress from this wonderful parade of figure painting (if the moderators will allow) to see if any esteemed LAF member recognises the manufacturer? It comes from a small range of late medievals, all of which were great sculpts, but which sadly are no longer available.

Am really enjoying the fantastic figure painting by everyone - great idea for the Medieval Board - and am hoping to sneak in another figure before we reach the target.
Cheers,
Simon.

(Hmm, photo could be better as the natural light is poor today   :-[ )

Very nice!

I see that it's been on for 9 days so far with 3,89 miniatures a day. I guess we have about 42 days left then. I could manage a SAGA army in that time then.

Simon, is he from the ex-Grenadier, Copplestone-sculpted Wars of the Roses range briefly carried by Companion Miniatures - now defunct? The style look similar.
Either way, he's a very nice looking figure, and I love the paint job. The blue coat is excellent  :)

Oooh - very nice Niels  :)
It was worth the effort.

Especially as I've had this particular mini (and his companions, which I just now happened upon by chance when looking for another mini) in 30 odd years or so...  lol

Thanks - I'll have to work a bit on my red and blue, though, I'm not quite content with the gambeson.

The next one I'll try to get done will be a Landsknecht-type (actually also an old warhamster mini), as my recent googling revealed to me that they were present in the 16th Cty. Cleaned and prepped on my pain(t) station, ready for tomorrow evening. Let's see if I can do it in less than a week this time...  ::)

Then, if there's still room for more entries, I'll do another archer... They don't do much impact on their own, now, do they?  ;)
