Bugger... I'm painting mine in red/White, too. They won't be anywhere near this in quality, though, firstly because the old GW Empire plastics are nowhere as nicely sculpted, secondly because I haven't got the necessary skill.  :)

Great entries all around since last time  :-*

No: 54 - King Alfonso and Pedro Bermudez

These are from Crusader Miniatures and are the only non-Perry Miniatures figures in my Christian Spanish collection. I use this base as my Christian General when playing 'Hail Cid'

Very nice Stephen.

You chaps are getting blinking good at those battered shields...  :)

And I love King Alfonso, Scrivs. The banner is gorgeous.

Here's my next offering. Stop me when you get bored with them...

No 57: King Alfonso and Pedro again

My next offering is the dismounted version of the pair I posted earlier.

Please let me know when you get bored with Red/Gold Spaniards and Blue/White Moors and I'll dig out some other stuff to post.

No 35. Swiss Halbardier - battle of Nancy 1477.

I've had this figure for sometime, so this was a great opportunity to paint him up.

He's made by.... well, perhaps I can briefly digress from this wonderful parade of figure painting (if the moderators will allow) to see if any esteemed LAF member recognises the manufacturer? It comes from a small range of late medievals, all of which were great sculpts, but which sadly are no longer available.

Am really enjoying the fantastic figure painting by everyone - great idea for the Medieval Board - and am hoping to sneak in another figure before we reach the target.
Cheers,
Simon.

(Hmm, photo could be better as the natural light is poor today   :-[ )

[that's a shame they don't do them anymore, great figures and a great paint job you did on him]
