Well, I've been keeping this range close to my chest for quite some time, I started sculpting the first figures about the same time I started work on my French & Indian War range - there are loads more F&IW to come, but I'm better situated to start releasing "The Western Range" now too.

Check out the website for the first snippets of information (I'll be adding to this soon) and more pictures.  :)

Lovely stuff Lance. :-*

I hope this proves to be a very popular range for you. :)

Can we expect to see some Apache scouts and perhaps some white scouts....Burt Lancaster as McIntosh from Ulzana's Raid please ;) ;D

If they feature some more traditional/early technology weapons I will certainly consider them for my 1680 - 1700 games, despite the clothing (most people don't "see"  anachronistic clothing in my games but they sure as heck notice winchesters and revolvers, go figure.)

from Vocabulary.com:  "The adjective anachronistic comes from the Greek words ana, or "against", and khronos, or "time." It usually refers to something old-fashioned or antique, but it can also mean anything that blatantly clashes with the time in which it is seen. Imagine watching a movie that takes place in the 1700s and seeing one of the characters pull out a cell phone. Any phone, in the context of the movie's time period, would be anachronistic."

I guess winchesters in the 1700's catches people's eyes faster than out of period clothing (of course there is the lack of "appropriately attired" figures for the period in many cases but how any of us study clothing styles as much as technology like revolvers.)

Gracias,

Glenn
