Vole seeks Star System - must have all mod cons

I'm toying with playing a spot of Rogue Trader, but I'd like to set my games in my own sector.

I recall that there were some random sector generating tables in a 40k book somewhere. You rolled up how many star systems and how they linked together and what sort of worlds there were there.

I thought I saw it in the Battlefleet Gothic rulebook, but I've checked the GW PDFs and there's no sign.

Am I imagining things? Or is it out there somewhere?
