It's hearsay of course, but if it's a true reflection of what was said to that backer, it really doesn't stand Prodos in a good light at all.

That's a bit sad though...
I'm victim of the Games and Gears Kickstarter, so I know how it is...but a group like that is something I'd never consider.

@Scurv: It is not only unfair, it is criminal. Prodos still is in buisiness after stealing nearly 380.000 USD minus some small things they send out. It is also a question of the character and honor of these guys of Prodos. And they produced the stuff with stolen money and sell it to other customers. And other customers should be warned with this to make not the same mistake as the current waiting and tricked customers.

People choose their fights. That's how it works. Sometimes folks choose to back a loosing cause and sometimes they support one that is unjust, but it's their choice.

We may get tired of their struggle, or feel uncomfortable watching them attempt something that seems silly or impossible. That's our choice.

But remarkable things have been achieved by persistent individuals and the FB page promoting a legal challenge against Prodos is at least a constructive step toward a goal.

I don't think any of us are giving Prodos, or the abuse of KS fundraising in our hobby a pass. I sincerely wish some measure of satisfaction to backers burned by the AVP project.

Prodos can suck an egg.

And all the small Kickstarter that act fair and work hard get damage in their reputation by people like Prodos. I hope that these criminals won't get a platform in the future and no one buys something until the last backer get the stuff or the money back. But it is only a last wish for me. End of Prodos for me ( may the b******* burn in hell fire)...

They are liars and thieves. Only chance is to get them at cons and take your stuff directly. Sad that companies still work with them, they loose a lot of integrity and respect in my eyes ( like modiphus). Supporting this criminals is like helping them stealing the backers money!

I went to salute, at their stand was a long queue of upset backers eager to get their stuff. As there was almost no movement i left after 5 Minutes as i didn't want to waste precious con-time. 
When leaving a Guy came by and told us that the Basic Box for the backers was already gone...
Passed by later in the afternoon and confronted jarret, i was pretty upset and in fact was given many apologies but no explanation for the handling (or better, non-handling) of the matter. Was offered some of the remaining blisters but refused to take them as i didn't have space in my Travel Bagage. I insisted to get my stuff by mail and was promised that it will be send during the week after the show.
This promise was kept, I've received everything that was produced until now.
So the Message is, while the whole handling was a mess, there is still hope that the obligations will be fullfilled.

Hi guys just wanted to clarify that Prodos as holders of the miniatures licenses are involved only in helping to provide sculpts. As they have already sculpted a lot of the characters and creatures involved it made sense to get them to resculpt the figures for the boardgame. Paolo parente is overseeing the sculpting process and has brought on board some big names to help. He is an expert at plastic figures production so we benefit from his advice. However neither of them are involved in any way with the management of the Kickstarter which is between Modiphius and Cabinet Entertainment who own the Mutant Chronicles brand.

Happy to answer any questions about the project but I want you to know Siege of the Citadel is in very safe hands. Our last boardgame Kickstarter delivered just two weeks late for the core box and about three months late for the expansions (though with good reasons). There will always be delays but we are one of the best companies at keeping people informed and answering queries. I also had one of the first copies and am working hard to keep the game true to its routes whilst updating it.
