This has me very interested on one hand and and on the other super annoyed it may be making all my current work obsolete

lol

You and 90% of the Future Wars board contributors buddy.  Like me, you should have got in gear in at an earlier point in the intervening twenty seven years :D

Embrace the new stuff.  Everyone wants some more xenomorphs, right?  And a reasonably affordable dropship would certainly make my shopping list.

A decent tidy, quick, clean, thematic and non-fiddly ruleset for the three factions would be a big draw for me.  A Warzone-esque, overburdened mass of charts, pointless modifiers filled ruleset that looks like it was written the same year that Aliens came out would not.

If its licenced, then its definitely exciting news.  Advertising it before Warzone has shipped is likely to generate tension I expect.

Um, no, I don't have any interest in xenomorphs.  Or the dropship (at this scale.)  Or the three factions.

Only responding to point out that not "everyone" has a passing interest, much less passion, for this setting.

I'd imagine it'd be "easier" to gain licensing from the game than movie studios.... ???

Well, to be fair, it was only "90% of the Future Wars board contributors", not "everyone"...

I wouldn't mind a few more futuristic troopers or their drop ship now that it was mentioned... But I do mind contributing to obvious not-something projects a bit. Hence my +1 to Inso's post.

I think the game had licensing from the 'movie'...

If these of officially licensed colour me interested and I'll have to add the to the 'must have' list, if not then I'll pass on these for now.

Personaly, I'd be interested in cheap marines and "monsters" plastic kits to make a 28mm version of Forlorn Hope (victory point game) ;)

Cheap, because I'll need a horde of them. ;)

IN the past we saw some similar kits for 28mm zombies, from several companies. Now it's pretty affordable to make even a 100 zeds horde.

Something similar for scifi would be great.

LOL, I won't ask for a poll!

Yes, I am sure there are many people who would be interested.

I was planning on using Khurasan 15mm stuff for Forlorn Hope, but I could probably be persuaded to try these in 28mm too, depending on the pricing and such.

Is it going to be another kickstarter project or actual WIP?

If its kickstarter its going to take forever until all of us will get hands on these.  ::)

They mostly come out with Kickstarters........mostly

Some kickstarters start (that sounds wrong to my ears) with some of the figures sculpted.  But yes the figures can take a while to arrive...
