Warzone 3 AAR - exfiltration in deep desert
« on: October 23, 2013, 09:00:12 AM »
Another battle against my brother with old Warzone. Capitol escort a VIP against dark legion of Demnogonis (in french on my blog) :

First time with environnemental rules - really hard for the troops.

Nice report ! Great scenery, (almost all) painted minis  :-*

I see (correct me if I'm wrong) that you mix diferent brands of minis for your armies, could you explain a bit ?

I see you're playing warzone 3 : that is ultimate warzone, right ? I'm playing 1st edition, I didn't like the 2nd edition of the rules. How are the warzone 3 rules, in comparison ?

By the way, you're lucky to share gaming with your brother. Mine is not interested in gaming at all.

Thanks.

All the capitol minis are officials (the VIP is a Pulp figure). For the Dark symetry : I use GW beast of Nurgle and a Confrontation cthonian for the cairaths (things with tentacles), AT-43 oni for the kadavers, a GW plaguebearer for a curator and a d&d mini lemure for a herald of Demnogonis (don't think there is an official mini).

We play ultimate warzone with some corrections from a french fan : http://coral.beach.center.pagesperso-orange.fr/. It is close to Warzone 2. The most important changes are in the army lists. I never played 1st edition.

Only my brother play with unpainted minis. I push him into doing it but he usually prefers to play video games (arggh).  :?

Oliv, do you have any good idea for Imperial trencher proxies ?

In the past, I had a complete boxset, and I (dumb I am!)  sold it

By the way, I NEVER sold any other miniature after this, since I regretted so much to have sold these figs).  :-X
