Bolt action in 15mm with pics

I like your idea of using the FOW bases, I think its the one I'll use. For pin markers I'm planning on basing a casualty figure on a 2p with room for a small 6mm die.

The figs look great and the pin marker is a nice idea. We have been playing Bolt Action in 15mm since it came out with no modifications. As others have commented you'll find it a much better game in this scale than 28mm IMO. 

It also means we have painted forces to play with and get a much bigger selection of vehicles without having to break the bank to do it.

Sorry I haven't added any painting updates for a few day but haven't had a chance todo any painting.
I popped into my local WarGameStore and spotted this


It gives me 84 men with a great variety of poses ect so looks like I'm now doing boltaction winter Americans

Our club plays BA in 15mm exclusively....We were all big FoW players, so everyone had lots of figures kicking around, made sense, and we like the ground scale effect of it...

We already had terrain for FoW, and decided for the low cost of entry, we'd do it in 15mm. What kind of tips are you looking for? I'd be happy to contribute what I can.

For my guys, I used the plastic US Paras from the new boxed game, so far I've only played 500pt games,

As Iv been collectin FOW for about 3 years now I have amassed a lot of army's and now Iv turned my attention to bolt action but using 15mm for a scale the link below will add even more depth and chose to my future gaming and also slow my to use some of my existing miniature as well as alow me to explore some miniature options I would never have given a second look too

I've played Bolt Action with my 15mm FoW figures and also started a sci-fi idea in 15mm. I only have some really bad photos of one game though as i'm currently camera-less.

What are the basic squad/platoon sizes for Bolt Action?

Have a lot of Peter Pig, Skytrex and FOW WW2 infantry and now considering looking at these rules for gaming smaller actions after getting bored by large multiple element based unit games. Also like the idea of using small tank units rather than wall to wall panzers and shermans slugging it out on the table.

The basic size of force in bolt action is a reinforced platoon. Basically 3-4 squads of up to 10 men (in general) with a few bits of support, HMG's, mortars, snipers etc and the odd armoured vehicle.

If you were still looking at Sealion (which I seem to remember you were at some point) there are lists in both the British and German book for the operation.
