Mason- simple genius on the signage mate, a winner once again. You just have a remarkable instinct for these things, as you just get it right every time. Well done mate. The water tower is looking superb also.

It ain't just Bullock who's clumsy twunt - I have to put my hand up to that one too. Unfortunately, in the process of putting me hand up I've had a load of stuff off the shelf beside me and it's all over the floor now...

 :o

Let's hope I don't live up to my claim when we play on Saturday. I can't wait to go Upsheet Creek with a couple of friends - let's ride into town and shoot up the sheriff. Ooh, matron

That is a TERRIFIC looking Water Tower...are you going to have a railroad going through town? Be that as it may, I look forward to your improvements.

It is a lovely build and does not need any improvements.
It is just going to be based and weathered slightly more, that is all.

As for a railroad....the answer is: Yes!
I haveone in my possession, courtesy of Rivera (Cheers, mate!  :D) who has already done a lot of work for me, removing internal gubbins and suchlike.
This will be tackled after the first lot of buildings are finished, as I will then need to build a railroad station, wont I?
 ;)

Great progress Paul,  I've really enjoyed having a catch up.  :)

I am glad that you approve, mate.
And before you ask: NO! I do not intend the addition of any serial killers just yet.
 :D

Cheers, mate, but I am having second thoughts about letting you in the door now, mate.

You are a very sick man, Bertie.
You need something more than Matron can offer!

It's funny you should say that Bert. I've taken to laughing like Sid James every time I pick upy Mexicans at the happy thought of satetdays shoot out.

Everything looks great Mason. It's really inspired me to crack on with my painting.
Good man yourself!

You just don't now yet what you got yourself into  lol

Can we please have a preview of all the kit you have so far Mason... I'd especially like a looky at that train ;)

The water tower is nice. Will you put the town name onto it? Please do. I also think you need a cotton/linnen store. It's sheet creek after all.

Cheers
Matt

Oh, I know that....I do this with EVERY project.

I can show you all the big stuff now, as all the buildings are in the opening post, but here they are again for a rundown....

Here are three of the buildings that Bobble sold to me....

The red-brick building became my Bank and the building in the centre is now my Hardware Store.

The other building, with the green general store sign will be the next building that I tackle after the Water Tower.
Not too sure exactly what it will be yet, but am veering towards an Undertakers...

This picture contains a larger build containing three small stores forming a terrace, and the Water Tower, of course....

They will be dealt with next.

After that I have the two buildings that I bought off of philhendry...

They will  be based last of all, to match those that came before.
I MAY even do the interiors of those two..... ::)

Afer that I shall be moving on to the Train...

The previous thread which accompanies this is here:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=56023.0

As I mentioned earlier, Rivera had already made a start on this, so I shall have a fairly easy task of dealing with this.....I hope!

As you can see, I still have plenty to do and this lot should keep me busy for the rest of this year....at least.

That's pretty much the train set I have! I bought it about 2 years ago for my ACW set up.

Cheers Paul, it's good to see where your heading … and how much longer you can uphold a rapid output of scenery. Quite a while lol

Managed to miss this thread somehow; it's all looking very impressive.

Looking forward to seeing the "magic" touch on the train.

And that is not ALL of it.
Oh, no, certainly not..... ::)

Thanks, mate.
The train will be a while yet, though.

Well, we had our first couple of games today.
We used the LotOW rules and they seem to work just fine for us.

Tom the Bastard took his Lawmen up against smokezombie's Mexican Banditos in the first game in a Jail Break scenario with the Outlaws attempting to free one of their gang from the clutches of Big Bad Tom.

A few pics from the game.....

The Mexicans enter town...

They were first confronted by a rather fetching and feisty young lady armed with a sixgun....

The sound of gunfire drew the deputised Vigilantes from the Sheriff's building to try and help the damsel in distress....

The lady of dubious history was eventually forced to make a stand up on the gallows.....

Eventually the plucky lass was gunned down, but not before she had taken a couple of the Banditos down.

The game had a great finale with a shoot out in the Sheriff's Office.....

Good fun and an eventual win for the Lawmen when the Mexican nerve could hold no longer and they finally broke and fled.

More on the second game later....

What a plucky lass going up against the banditos single handed. Looks like it was a "blast" for most lol

Cheers
