Tower looks great. Those townsfolk look like they'll fit in nicely in a Wild West town.

Thanks, Gubbukkit.
I am glad that you agree.
 :)

She's a damn site purtier than the saloon girls who'll be frequenting my saloon (Dixon girls)!

The way that hair is hanging makes identification difficult.
'She' may NOT be as pretty as she seems.
 :D ;)

Two more citizens of the Creek have been painted up.

The Doctor** (Now Eric the Shed) and the Stationmaster*

*Yes, that does mean that I have to build a Railroad Station

Two more Civilians to finish off today and then I can move on to the next building and make a start on my first 'gang' for LotOW: Dog Troop.....

**The Doctor has since been replaced by a new version and has since been renamed Eric the Shed, Hardware Store Proprieter.
I think he works well in this role as he appears to be wearing a coat that is similar in appearance to a warehouse jacket.

Nice paintjobs. I've been looking for a decent stationmaster figure too. I like the Foundry one but I'm not paying £12 for the whole pack. I've already got the Sarissa station. If your train is indeed similar to mine then I gauge track will also work with it.

I think I know the one that you mean...I used him in my Elephant in the Room diorama last year as a Museum Attendant.

Is this the fella?

(Pictures of the finished thing are here:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=48785.30 ).

Nice model and easy to paint.
Pop an ad in the (Wanted) section of the Bazaar, someone must have one that they do not need.
 ;)

As for the train. this is it as it was used in the last game...

A blurry photo, but you should be able to tell if it is the same one.

The new men about town look SPLENDID. The Station Master is a rather dashing fellow. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, Al!
Mr Chuffolski should be well pleased, being described as dashing.

Cheers, mate.
Shame you couldn't make it as we did have a good evening.

Those Mexicans have certainly been unlucky with their post-game rolls, losing fellas after every game haws taken its toll and the varmints have had to disband.

The intrepid reporter of the Creek Chronicle did manage to get one shot of them as they left town......

The last two of the six 'civilians' that I started during the week.

They are Catastrophe Kate and Mrs Rhubar, wife of the garrison commander at nearby Fort Paddle.

Kate is not actually just a civilian, as she is a 'honorary member' of Dog Troop when they are on patrol after joining them in repulsing the Mexican bandits when they attempted a jailbreak.
The fact that she is more than a little unhinged does not stop her from being a respected member of the group/

Mrs Rhubar is the wife of Colonel Rhubar, commander at Fort Paddle.
An ebay purchase with a little bit of shading added and rebasing to match the rest of the townsfolk.

That is it for the 'civvies' for now apart from the obligatory group shot.

Five civvies and an unhinged shotgun-wielding cook finished this week.
I am pretty happy with that....

It has been nice painting some figures for a change and the fact that they are civilians is a nice distraction too.

As was mentioned earlier on in the thread, we managed a couple of games earlier this week.

I did not take any pictures of the games themselves as smokezombie's Mexicans were the only fully-painted posse.
I did take a few pics of the set-up we used as it shows the town as it is so far.

Here is a shot of the table looking up the main street from the Sheriff's office....

I am having quite a few problems with Photobucket at the moment, but will post the rest of the shots up later when it behaves....

Nice set up! The train really does add something!
I tried to reply to your suggestion about synchronizing train work in the new year (as it will help me focus!) but my phone thought it would like to be an arse and decided not to play. I'm up for that  :)

Lets do it!

I have to let you know that Rivera has done a lot of the hard work for me, so I should give you a head start to remove all the gubbins as I do not need to.
I only need to build a box car and it is ready for painting.
I am looking forward to doing this, though.

The new year it is!

Excellent Boss Mason, looks just the sort of place where they don't like fookin' free grazers around
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.
