The building is a BEAUTY & the signage LOVELY & WITTY. I'm looking forward to seeing what goes in the empty lot next door. In the meanwhile...VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks, chaps!
Much appreciated.
 :D

...... I'm looking forward to seeing what goes in the empty lot next door.....

The empty lot is going to be the 'Builder's Yard', and shall be filled with all kinds of 'builders' stuff as and when I buy it, paint it or find it.
I aim to keep adding to this in the same way as the Hardware Store.

As an added bonus the man himself seems pleased and has offered to send me something very interesting to put in the yard as it fills up.

It took me longer than I care to admit to get the wordplay. Very nice!
Perhaps you should add a cat lording it over the yard.

That is quite understandable, Doc.
I dare say say that you are not alone.
It took me a while to catch on.

There really is no need for that sort of abuse, you git!

For the record: In that particular match I was a Wigan supporter for the day.

I have slowed down a lot of late and really need to pull my finger out if this is all going to get done in time for BLAM.... ::)

To give a clearer idea, here is what it looks like with the unfinished walls in place...

Now I just need to get some time to finish it...

*snap* Forgot you were forever blowing bubbles ;D

To be honest mate, you got a zillion houses, a board and loads of minis. How much are you really putting in the BLAM event?! :o

I shall ignore that insult.
Bubbles, indeed.

Well.....I am having 13 'themed' buildings, each assigned to a BLAM attendee, with the necessary figure of that character/proprietor as well.
These will form the Objectives in the games.

ALL the rest of the BLAM attendees, some 17 or so, that do not have their own building, will have at the very least a figure (some will have wagons and other things as appropriate) and a Random Event assigned to their character.
These random events will be utilised by the players to chaos mayhem while the game is in progress*.

So far I have all the buildings that I need, seven of the thirteen being finished, once Matakishi's gaff is done.

Of the 30 'character' figures, I have most of them sourced (there are still a couple to find... ;)) and have about 10 of them 'finished'.

There is also a few 'Protagonists' to finish off, in case I need to provide them.
I am leaving that open, though, as some of the players wish to provide their own
posse.

So, still a fair bit to do, but certainly well under way....I hope!

Is all this going to be kept in a Masonic lodge somewhere?  Or, at least, a lodgment?

BLAM is an annual event, that is held just outside London, where a group of British LAF members (and a few from overseas) meet up and take turns to put on games for others to play.
It takes place over the course of a weekend, Fri-Sun, and usually involves getting together for games, eating and drinking.
It is an invite-only thing at present due to a lack of space.
If you would like to be added to the 'list' for future attendance, give me a shout via PM and we can add your name to it.

There are a few other threads on the LAF at present showing what other LAFfers have planned for the event.

Matakishi's Anarchy Offline game:

There are plenty more, they are just a couple of examples that first spring to mind.
