I hope I never get to play on it...

This.

Only because it's a work of art that should be drooled over and not touched.  ;)

Dont say that!
Any drool from James would be seriously damaging coming from that height.

The Barber's WIP....Upsheet Creek for BLAM 2014 UD:14/08
« Reply #1208 on: 14 August 2014, 04:04:34 PM »
Enough talk, it is high time that I got building again.

The Barbers SHOULD be next, but I may be distracted by some more rocks that I have gotten my hands on.

Just to get used to wielding a paintbrush again, of course....

Well, it took a while, and I avoided the rocks, (but I was sidetracked by other stuff instead... ::)) but I finally got around to starting the Barbers.

Here it is, a rather ramshackle-looking bit of pre-painted MDF and the baseboard.
The baseboard has had the building foundations and sidewalks added, whilst the Barbers itself has had a wash of black paint to 'dirty' it up.

Hoping to get some more progress done tonight.

The question is: Who is the Barber?

To those of you that already know: Lets not spoil the fun for the others, eh?
 ;)

I like it!

I wont be using that, though, as the Barber will be named after a LAFfer who will be attending BLAM, as is the norm for buildings in Upsheet Creek.
The question is: Which one?

Thank you, sir!
Your bases are pretty damn fine too.
 :D

I have made some decent progress on the Barber's place this evening.
I shall try and get a piccie up tomorrow.

Paul I like the coffee stirrer idea for lifting the building off the ground I've been using wood that's far more expensive! Idea nicked!

Awesome work Mason.

This project is such a beast - what a labor of love.
