Looking forward to see what you do with the railroad station as I've just ordered one from Sarissa.

Its probably hiding somewhere with mine ::)

Well, if you find yours and mine is with it, grab the little bugger and give me a shout.
I shall come and fetch the little bugger forthwith.
 >:( >:(

I haven't made any of the buildings I had planned for BLAM and now Bibbles and Dr De'Ath have sucked me into this 10mm Fantasy shit :o lol

Er, I think you started the 10mm 'sh!t', Franco-Prussian War ring any bells?

OK, chaps, the Barber's is finished and I have taken some pictures but I have not got time to sort through them and upload a load of pics to photobucket right now so here is a teaser and a final chance to guess who the 'owner' is...

The Barber standing outside his establishment....

Last chance to take a punt.

Piccies of the place tomorrow.

Nope, it is not him.
 :D ;)

Cheers, Skander.
I think....
I have never thought of myself as a whip for anyone's arse before.... :o :o

I am confident of getting this done for BLAM.
I have finished the Barber's (piccies taken tonight when I get back from work), so that only leaves two buildings.
They WILL be done, it is getting the last of the figures finished that bothers me as my painting mojo has been misplaced for some time now and I cannot find it.... ::)

I never had the Mojo. Please forward it when you're done with it ;)

German emigre Herr Kutt?

OR

I don't know his name but the fez is familiar....

 lol

I like it.
Well, Herr Kutt, at least.
Not so sure with the pun..... ;)

Unfortunately that cannot be used as all the citizens of Upsheet Creek are named after LAF members who will be attending BLAM.
 ;)

I never had the Mojo. Please forward it when you're done with it ;)

I think it has already forwarded itself to someone else already, mate.
 ::)

Grimm.

Not this one.......although the place does appear a little run-down and uncared for, so Grimm would be apt.
 :)

Do try, mate.
I am sure there are plenty of us who would love to finally meet you.
 :D

Legionnaire Bert then?

 :o :o :o

WE HAVE A WINNER!

It is indeed.
Well done that man!
 :D

He may be a Crazy Viking, but he also has a good deductive mind.
Either that or he is cursed with the same kind of warped imagination as I do.
You decide.....

It's a Sign!!...Upsheet Creek for BLAM 2014 UD:17/08
« Reply #1239 on: 17 August 2014, 08:32:09 AM »

The Legendary Robert, The Barber of Upsheet Creek.....

He likes to be known as the Legendary Robert, in that silly 'French' accent of his, but the locals do not seem to agree with his rather pretentious ways and prefer to refer to him as Bert, much to his chagrin.

They have even gone so far as to tamper with his, once immaculate and now sadly worse for wear, signage to reflect this...
 ;) ;) ;)

Pictures of the building itself later.

Lovely sign too.

Bezzo: What on earth is that thing?????
 o_o o_o

Ok, here we are with the Barber's.

It was decided long ago that Legionnaire Bert would have to be the barber due to his insistence on spending most of his time wandering about with a head resembling an extra from Full Metal Jacket.

Quite how I was going to have a Barber called Legionnaire Bert was another matter entirely.....

As you can see, I got there in the end.
 ;)

The Barber.

The establishment is owned and ran by the 'Legendary Robert' and was originally a lovely, pristine, red and white fronted building, thereby distinctly marking it out as a hairdresser in the traditional colours.

Over the years it has become a little run down, and could really do with a new lick of paint but that is not Robert's strong point.

The younger locals also seem to have taken exception to Bertie's pretentious ways and are always playing pranks on him, including removing parts of his lovely sign so that it reads something else entirely...

I intend to put a large sign or picture on this side of the building to break up that large blank sppace, I just need to find the right thing...

As you can see the paintwork has begun to fade and is peeling in places, but it is still the only Barber's in Town, so Bert sees no need to 'mess about' repainting the place.....
