It is a shame that time is running out as I would have liked to have gotten the other version finished.
I think you have a good idea of what Elk looks like in his 'casual' gear already.
101 to come.
 ;)

Yes, I have a very good idea of casual Elk! Looking forward to seeing 101, don't worry if the painting is a little ruff.  ;)

I'm getting very excited about all this now, I just need to finish my own contribution.

Yep, you have it.
Looking forward to seeing what you are up to.
 :D

Nothing exciting at the moment, just some WIP piccies of the last building for now and the corner section that will represent the Creek itself....

.....neither of which HAVE to be done for the game to work, but the building is important as it houses two of the remaining characters (any guesses who...?) and the Creek should really make an appearance in some form, I reckon.

I am hoping for a little more progress with both today, but they wont be finished until next week as I am working all weekend.

Damas and Silent Invader will feature in the next couple of days, though.
I just need to take pictures of them....

Cool stuff. I'm working on some Western Aeons.  I have two questions though Mason,
How did you make the tracks?
Where is the Bag Man from?

Only a week to go... I'm officially excited  :-* o_o

Shall I bring my LPL posse, or would you rather people didn't besmirch your work of art with their own shabby figurines? :D

(I shall bring them anyway, and they can pose around on the edge of the table for Hello Magazine ;))

Cheers, Oldben1.
Much appreciated.
Western Aeons is a fun twist on both genres and is highly recomended.
 ;)

As for the track, I think it comes from this set...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Classic-Battery-Operated-Train-420cm/dp/B005O75AEU/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1412253193&sr=8-11&keywords=battery+operated+train

I cannot be 100% sure as I got it from someone on here in a different box, but it looks like the same set that I have.

I have quite a lot of curved track left if you want it, no straights, though...

As for the Bagman.....

The Bagman is Dr Watson from Ironclad Miniatures

http://ironcladminiatures.com/en/24-victorian-sci-fi-characters

....Burt is, of course, spot on.
Ironclad indeed.

Hello magazine..... ;)

Of course you should bring them.
Then you can blame 'new figure syndrome' should you you lose.
 :D

Looking forward to both seeing the figures and the game.
Maybe joining a game if possible....we shall see.

I shall try and get pictures of Silent Invader and Damas sorted this evening.....

Silent Invader comes to Town... Upsheet Creek for BLAM 2014 UD:05/10

I shall try and get pictures of Silent Invader and Damas sorted this evening.....

Here is Silent Invader.....

The Bear, La Clava, as he is known to the Spanish-speaking members of the populace, is a regular visitor to town.
He is also known as the Silent Invader, as the first you know that he has been into your storeroom is when you find it empty in the morning.

A shifty, scary looking beast, he is not really so bad after all.
He does not have any real intention of hurting those around him but his sudden appearance can still be rather off-putting.
 :D

He is not quite so shiny and glossy in real life.
Damn my camera pointing skills....

That's just brilliant!  I could see him as a nice rug in my trapper's cabin.

I'm wondering if Damas might also be fauna based?

I'm now wondering if I'm going to be a rolling tumbleweed or such!  ???
