Bendy plastic WotC SW Mos Eisley.. right !! Goes with the Mexicans ;) ;) ;) ;) I'll join you in painting figures :D

 lol lol
Yep, that is another one of my projects where I have all the figures just waiting for attention.
As for working with the Mexicans: I know, mate.
The hacienda will be built with that in mind, along with VSF gaming as well.
Just you wait and see, Bertie.
 ;)

EDIT: I think you've made the right choice Paul, Its been such a blast so far it would be a shame to not finish it.

Oh, I was always going to continue with the Creek, but finish it...?
I can see this being a project that will never finish as there is always something else that can be added.
 :)

No one will complain if the Creek makes a return appearance, it was great fun. I'm happy to help out too, especially if you want to play something else. You have more dedication to specific projects than I do, I've got my Old West project,  my modern project and bits and pieces from half a dozen others on the go. It's admirable!

Cheers, mate.
As for helping out: Thanks again.
 :D

Although the way it plays, it does not really need too much of my attention.
In fact the last game played at BLAM last year pretty much ran itself.
Which was nice.

A good project is one that ends :)

Do something new mate! Sci-Fi perhaps? Or classical Post-Apocalyps? It will inspire you to do more stuff, and more strange stuff :)

If you ask me - your project is way to historical at the moment. Add a dinousar, some martians and perhaps an angry spirit set on the worlds destruction and you'll have something fab for BLAM.

Well done Paul - the right decision !!

A good project is one that ends :)

Many a management consultant or IT contractor would disagree with that!  lol
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

I dont think that any project really 'ends'.
There is always something else to add, surely....
 ;)

I do have a couple of small projects that I have started recently, one fantasy and one sci-fi.
They are both on here on the appropriate boards.
They wont be anything like as big as this one, more to give me a little variety than anything else.
 :D

It does not have to be, mate.
I can always add in other elements for a 'weird' flavour.
We have already mixed Strange Aeons with the Old West for a bit of a laugh.
There may be more...who knows?
 :D

Well done Paul - the right decision !!

Thanks, Steve.
I think so too.
 :) :)

Nice one.

Trust you!
Not a Cat House as such, but Mama Mute's has a pretty bad reputation.
More Saloons are in the pipeline, so there may well be a more 'open' establishment of ill repute.
 ;D ;D

Seeing as how you have painted so many of the Citizens, that would be only fair, I guess.

Dice Tower Extensions ....The Town of Upsheet Creek UD:19/03
« Reply #2168 on: 19 March 2015, 09:08:52 PM »
I have recently had some MDF Dice Towers made up in the guise of wooden extensions so that they can be added to a multitude of buildings.
They are, of course, perfect for the Old West.

The idea came from a lovely present from Bobble, who sent me a dice tower in the shape on Old West building for me to add to the town.
Unfortunately the Royal Mail were not so kind and it arrived in a rather sorry state.
 :'(

When I told Bobble that I would not be able to get it ready for BLAM, as I would have to do a fair bit of repair work he was a little miffed, to say the least.
I thought that would be the end of it for now until, two days later, another parcel appeared in the post from himself.
I opened it to find a building extension that was itself another dice tower!

Top man!!

After thanking him profusely for his kind efforts, an idea dawned on me: These could be added to any building and could be most useful for just about any genre.
I asked him if he would like to draw a plan up to enable me to get them made in MDF as a simple kit, to which he happily agreed.

I sent the plan off to Chris at Sally 4th who made a few minor adjustments and then produced a fair few for me to sell on to others who may also think that this is a good idea.
It keeps all the dice neat and tidy and avoids clumsy players (and we all know a few of those, I guess!) knocking things over or just plain throwing them on the floor.

I put one together quickly to see what they looked like.
Here it is...

I intend to add one of these to four of the buildings, one for each side of the board.
Piccies when they are done...

Oh, and if anyone wants any they are a fiver each, just send me a PM.
I have a fair few to spare, but I thought that I would give those that follow this thread first shot at them before they get added to my main sales thread at the weekend.

OOh that's smart, Well done James - your a top lad!

I'd like to see how that turns out Paul, looks to be a simple addition which may make dice rolls a little neater. (I haven't used a dice tower before).

Cheers
Matt
