I've been finishing up a couple of miniatures over the last few days, so I thought I'd save them up and do a huge post all at once.
Having gathered a group of followers, a Dark Champion raids the northern villages in the kingdoms of men. Only with great courage, skill at arms and sacrifice can such a warband be defeated.I've dug up some of my older models for a photo-shoot, since I wanted to show them off now that I am better at taking pictures. And also to add a bit of life and story.
The evil warband proper - This amounts to around 300 pts for Song of Blades and Heroes, give or take a character or two. The miniatures are an eclectic mix of Ral Partha (The chaos warrior), Mirliton/Grenadier/Em4, old Citadel and a single Hasslefree Dwarf.
The blunderbuss's of the dark dwarves often prove devastating in the thightly packed confusion of melee combat.Said dwarf in question:
Really like the miniature, and will definitely be getting him some friends at some point in the future. I have a champion lying around that I need to assemble and paint as well.
The Chaos Warrior - A miniature from Ral Partha. A bit more 'skully' than I'd usually like, but he's got a great vibe to him, with the face on the armour, the horns and the skulls. Lean and mean!
I've also painted a couple more good guys.
First off, the first of my Ex-citadel Foundry Norse/Norman.
The shield design was one of the first hits on google for "Norman shield", so I take it that it is historically authenthic

Then there is this ranger:

A bit of a rushed mini: She had been sitting around, half-finished for close to half a year (or more?), but I needed her for a game this weekend, so she was quickly finished. Which shows. Not too happy with the way she turned out, but she's playable now. And all of my warbands have a serious lacking of long-range support, so any bow armed fighter done is good.
That's about it, hope you enjoyed the pictures, and thanks for reading
