who makes good adobe buildings?

as the question says, ive looked at sarissa and to be honest wasnt impressed, who else makes nice ones?

With Malamute being the exemplary illustration I would say scratch building is the way to go every time

Definitely scratch building.  I knocked out 6 adobe buildings in a day just this week.

Monolith Desings do some decent ones as did Snapdragon which are sadly no longer available.

I have a fair few of the Snapdragon ones  that I painted up years ago in the exact same style as my scratch built ones.

I don't use them anymore and could be persuaded to part with them if you are interested...

They are pretty straightforward to do. Get yourself a palette knife and a tub of ready mixed Polyfilla.

Add a bit of water and stir until its a bit runnier. Slap it on with the palette knife and smooth it over the foam board. You don't need to add too much, just enough to cover the board.

I rub mine over with sand paper when dry to take off some of the roughness. Add some balsa doors, windows etc and you are done.

Post lots of photos when complete, or buy some ready made.

I use Crescent Root studios, but they're in the US so shipping would be ridiculous abroad.    Not a bad price, have a nice selection of buildings, can order them painted or not.

I buy from PMC. Cheap as chips and good for Afghan and Sudan
