Dunwich Board
« on: December 09, 2013, 05:43:35 PM »
Here ye see the decrepit village of Dunwich, where 3 unfortunate agents were asked by a shaken and recovering Dr. Armitage to recover the Whately Necronomicon. Unfortunately, the locals were none to cooperative and others had their eyes set on finding it as well...

After questioning the local yokels at Osborn's store, the team heads up the road into the back country in search of a lead, the elusive Amos Whately, a local moonshiner who is said to see many goings on in the backwoods. Unfortunately for one agent, they notice some movement in the forgotten cemetery and stop to investigate... meanwhile, strange figures rise up from the depths of the Miskatonic river...

Nice board! Really works well for a Lovecraftian rural ramble.

The barn is Renendra as well, Ramshackle Barn. We have 2 Grenadier investigators and a Hasslefree shooting it out with Rafm and Grenadier Ghouls before they raise too many Reaper Zombies, and two Rattrap hybrids and a Grenadier Deep One heading towards town whilst the heroes are occupied....

I'd definitely like to see more photos, there's something very pleasing about the whole set up.

The fencing came with the Renedra house and church. The church (Osbornes) came with quite a bit and some tombstones. I added the door and windows from model railroad o scale kits and hacked up the steeple a bit.

Furious barking, then distant screams are heard from town, but our investigators have their hands full. Fortunately, the zombies have trouble navigating the fence...

An investigator bravely (foolishly?) breaks off from the team in a desperate attempt to lure the Deep Ones away from the remaining townfolk....
