Merry Christmas all.

The loco arrives in town and heads to the workshop.

I have to agree.
That looks a real beauty to convert.

Plastic shavings abound, but the progress so far is below :D The cow catcher was a pain! >_<

Landon shows us he fits quite well up there

I was given this lovely box by Mrs CB at Christmas. A quick application of magnet tape to the bottom and these figures look a little safer. :)

Cheers

That box is lovely (similar to the 15mm shown recently in another thread).  I might have to adopt a similar idea...hmm... lol (and I could use a box to hold all of the junk I need for SnS...)

The engines are looking really good! I would move that front wall of the cab forward though, you need more room for the back of the boiler, the engineer and the fireman. I would move it forward to the edge of the white plastic floor.

Yes, agreed Heisler. That was the plan ;)

Elbows, I 'borrowed' the idea from Sengennaru/Jack and his 15mm cowboy thread. :)

A little progress on my choo-choos. The locos are roughed out. I need to figure out how to finish detailing with pipes before making it impossible to undercoat/paint.

C&C welcome, as is tips on how to do the piping! :)

The population of New Silverton swells as rumours of its silver deposits circulate among the wastes. A railroad entrepreneur, Dr Michael J Beresford, has entered town boasting of his mighty pre war traveling devices. The town seems rather taken by the idea. Everyone was last heard shouting "Iron Rails". A young blacksmith, Brenton Aybara Simth, has begun helping out in his uncle's gunsmithy. A beautiful lady Angelina Tricks has noticed the grime in town, and has begun ensuring the population is well bathed in one of her hot tubs.

The Bollard Gang has gained some new followers, after a campaign of recruitment in the wastes by Petey the Kidd and his two offsiders.

Two more gang members join in the hope of a quick buck, and to ward off the evils of the wastes- Blackbeard and Lee Vaughn.

Meanwhile - in the engine sheds at the old museum, work continues on repairing 'Old Smokey' and the 'Bandit Runner'.

Basecoated and washed, the highlights to come, then detailing. They still have all the electric gizmos and thus still work :D Choo Choo!

Cheers
Matt
