"First to fight" PzI Aust A 1:72 scale review
« on: 26 December 2013, 05:08:12 PM »
The second out of the two review samples from "First to fight" that I received was the Pz I Ausf A.
Just like the Polish TKS tankette this is a 100% plastic kit that came with a small magazine/booklet about the history and combat use of the PzI during the September Campaign and the platoon structure in which it fought.

Check my blog for more info and pictures of the kit and the painted up end result:

Looks good. I'm a big fan of small early-War armour and the Panzer I is a firm favourite.

How does this kit compare with the ex-Esci, now Italeri kit?

Sadly I can't comment on how it compares as I my main scales of choice have been 28 and 15mm and thus my miniature knowledge is limited to those. I can offer a comparison the the PSC tanks in 15mm scale however, and I think the First to Fight stuff is on the same level in terms of detail, assembly and number of parts  :)
