Now, that's an idea! 

Paul, you might want to look into the cuffs of the MG crew again. As far as I know, the MG units used the same tunics as the Jäger at the beginning of the war. Which means the Swedish cuff pattern instead of the Brandenburger one of the line infantry.

I will check that out. I know the Artillery units had differing cuffs.
