Excellent! Brings back memories of my first toy soldiers, Airfix Germans that I lovingly shoplifted from Woolworths   8)

Excellent news.

The shape of the pickelhaube looks spot on.

Now that, is how a WWI sculpt should should look!  :-*

The uniform, the kit, the helmet, THE RIFLE. All of it is executed amazingly!

Now we are talking. Who needs CAD when you can do this and make it look ten times better.

Finished first pack hope to have them out for some time before August. I'm doing these at night at the moment so they may take a little while until they are released.

mg08 WIP crew Bill T has kindly let me use his MG08 in exchange for some work.

Lovely sculpting as usual Mr. H! Hope to see some NCO's with proper 'taches.

But, but... where are the moustaches?  :'(

Can you already spill the beans what sets you are going to sculpt?

Maybe like Soapy's separate heads thing for Woodbine, Paul is going to sell "separate moustache" packs.  :)

Now, that's an idea!  ;D

Paul, you might want to look into the cuffs of the MG crew again. As far as I know, the MG units used the same tunics as the Jäger at the beginning of the war. Which means the Swedish cuff pattern instead of the Brandenburger one of the line infantry.

If I'm wrong, please let me know!

I will check that out. I know the Artillery units had differing cuffs.

I think you are getting confused with the independent machine battalions
