I'd love to get my mitts on a few of the civvies, but certainly I don't need the whole set :/

It basically works out at £2.20 for an individual figures which i'd say is pretty decent. My only concern is with the casting quality that i seem to find when buying from Warlord.

I think the set is pretty decent as well.

Yes that is my feeling on them. The likenesses arn't 100% but they are pretty good, and I have a lot of uses for the Civvies but zero use for (or desire to paint) the others... Hopefully they will release the range in smaller chunks at some point.

I'd get them were I doing Home Guard at the moment (it's on my 'eventually' list!) but I'd certainly get the civilian figs before the HG figs, everything else being equal. I always look at civilians for anything, and as I'm slowly putting together VBCW forces, civilians are always welcome.

Depends on whether they're on my side or not! I can pretty much guarantee that if I'm shooting at them, they'll last the game. lol

So did anybody else notice that Foundry put up their own Dad's Army gang on their front page, with new pictures? Guess that's the business equivalent of a nudge and a wink.  lol

Interestingly, they have revamped the WWII section, the Germans now have Feldpolizei added to their Kubelwagens range.

I know not everyone was a big fan of this range, but I just noticed you can buy the figures by character now, and not in the boxed set. They're £5 for a two-figure pack containing both the the full kit & civilian version of the same character.

So if (like me) you were thinking of using one or two useful ones for Pulp, VBCW, non-Dad's Army WWII games or whatever else, that's much more of an option now.

I've noticed that too, might buy the reverend and the verger set for my nascent Anglican League force.
