They'll make 2 boxes, 1 Brit and 1 German. Everyone will buy them in hopes that the full line will be made...arty, cav, tanks, etc. but it will fall flat and everyone will be disappointed...but I could be wrong. Roll Eyes

I honestly chuckled out loud on that one!  lol

They look like 'upscaled' 20mm plastics to me.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

These are still the best option so far:

maybe we have to accept that WW1 is simply not the market anyone wants to invest much effort in....

I wonder to what extent the odd proportions are a result of their sculptors starting the process by "dressing" one of the readily-available mannequins that populate the screens of most video games: long legs, short torsos, beefy shoulders, fairly small heads...

Real people just don't look like that.
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

That's an interesting point :?

Who knows? they might get in a third party to do the miniatures as the piece only mentions a rulebook...although that wouldn't make much sense considering they have in their range all the tanks and a few cars from ww1.

I presume as bolt action it will be 28mm, i'd give an extremity to have a third party do most of the miniatures as no separate heads and warlord chooses well.

well, Warlord does cover a lot of the involved parties usually and also cooperates, so...
I don't understand the harm in the separate head program though...

I would be disappointed to see another WW1 range that focuses only on the british contribution, there is no lack of available miniatures in that department....

Too true, at his stage, Britain, France and Germany have been mined out, i'd like to see plastic kits though and some eastern front action.

Indeed, i'd love perhaps a plastic early war kit for each of the poers plus metal conversion parts to represent later war equipment.

I want to see Russian shock troopers.
