Are they?  Compatible, that is?  Side-by-side in the same unit.

Not for me, Renegade a little too "chunky" in comparison but not impossible

Just to confirm what has already been said.  :)

Musketeer are some of the nicest, but also smallest Great War figures out there.

IIRC, Musketeer Russians are supposed to be larger than the British range. Can anyone confirm / deny?

I mix Renegade, Musketeer and Mutton Chop well enough for VBCW.

How well do Mutton Chop mix? Are they closer to Musketeer or to Renegade?

Mutton Chop stand up well next to Musketeer. As mentioned above, Renegade are a bit bigger - not big enough to bother me though.

I have heard that too.  I think the British were sculpted by Paul Hicks, whereas Bill of Musketeer sculpted the Russians.   Plynkes can confirm this I think.

Sounds about right to me, but I can't remember with absolute certainty, sorry.

Never got any of the Russians myself, but I too seem to remember someone saying they were bigger.

Here are a couple of comparison shots between a Musketeer WW1 British and Russian figures:

So they're pretty close in size as you can see.

I noticed! That was a nice surprise. Trying to decide if I'll be getting my pulp Nazi infantry from them or Artizan...

Thanks, Whisperin Al. The Russians do in fact look larger, although not vastly so.
