Does anyone make good Bir Hakeim type FF Legion in 1:72/76?

Axis propaganda likely.
no certainity that stock pictures were not used. Axis always tended to use pictures of non-europeans, to dehumanize the enemy. Here Africans in british battledress are shown, so likely french colonial troops?
Anyway, it does give a hint to french troops and how they were outfitted by the British, however there were other metropolitan units who had the intention of upholding visible traditions, for instance french officers are almost always shown with kepi.

so still a bit one-sided. But the source is in any case very good for pictures of any kind

Well I just bit the bullet and used the excellent Airfix 8th army figs. I found a way of cutting the helmets to leave a lip at the front and then fixing an elipitcial top on to form the Kepi.





and while I was at it, some of Helens countrymen converted for diggers in the desert doing one of their famed bayonet charges resulting in a dak surrender!







I have a commission now for an FFL battalion so I will post some pics once done.
