So you are hooked on these to now? Lovely. They are a tad gloss. What did you coat them with?

With my nautical types I am always ina fix on how to base them. Maybe boiler plate, hmmm, not why not planking? Well, what happens when they go ashore?  Decisions ....

 Thanks for your comments.
 I was not sure how to base them either Sendak but I am in no rush.

Hammershield, they did come out glossier in the picture than they look I don't know why.  I usually use a coat of Testors Gloss coat and then after that dries I give them a coat of dull coat.  I really like these figure and I want to get the deep sea diving set next, that looks cool.
