Well, technical that's true. There is real scope in using the Renault and Peugeot armoured cars, as the French would have a group of armoured cars made up of three sections, each consisting of three armoured cars; two armed with machine guns (in the early years usually on a Renault chassis) and one with cannon. But in 1915, when the stalemate began, they were relegated to patrolling roads in rear areas and bringing fire support when needed.
