Another converted Empress mini, to look the part for an Executive Outcomes PK gunner. Sierra Leone 1995.

Got a new toy. 1/48 Tamiya T-55, via eBay.



Going to have a go at a Rhodesian version, Op Quartz look.







Pretty much out of the box; leaving off the long range fuel tank/oil drums & adding the extra stowage box to the turret & some tiedown attachments.
No need for chipping or rust, as freshly refitted and painted.
Friend of mine offered to 3D print the box as my scratch building is not up to the task, less than 10mins in Solidworks he came up with this:



First test print:



I'll just need to add the handles.

I built the Tamiya T55 kit three weeks ago. It is a really nice kit.
