Good colour choices on those although I'd give the chap with the basket on his head brown clothes and the unarmoured samurai a different shade of trousers (darker preferably)  :)

cheers

Old glory have a box of villagers. Not as good quality as Perry though and only come in packs of 30 with 10 different sculpts.

Cheers carlos, will have a look tomorrow. Shall repaint trousers and basket head tomorrow as well, might get the perry ashigaru carrying rice bails as a couple of them can be used, their rice barrackades should pass for a pile of rice bailes next to a paddy field

so far I have one unit of arquebus, one unit of archers and two of nagae yari, need to finish off the samurai unit. I may add another yari unit or samurai. Then on to the next clan, all the other periods I collect I know there is an end point, with samurai it just goes on and on, tempted with 6mm or 15mm next but never painted that scale so might have to get a couple of packs at Reading in November, then it all starts again in a different scale ;D

But that would mean I would have to purchase some buildings in 15mm, maybe a castle as well....

Personally I would go for 6mm and 28mm nice big difference between the two

Also cheap castle in the 6mm samurai section.
