Thanks Matt!  I also added 3 rats (for the 3 Gully Brothers) and some graffitti from an HO train set.  I do still need to weather this with pigments, but the lion share of work is done! :D  I think I'll add a  school or a church and call it a day with terrain for now.  Still have about 70 minis to paint for this set. :D

The rats, tire tracks and shack really make this piece.

Thanks Mates, I really like the details. There is so much rich talent on LAF I've had a ton of inspiration.

Just a lonely garbage dumpster....

Thanks guys!  It's an Ainsty Castings dumpster, you get 2!  I'm certain they're 28mm, but things like dumpsters, cargo containers, garbage skips and such come in a variety of sizes so they dont look bad in 20mm.  Most of the other stuff I use JR Innovative Design HO scale.  I'm finishing up some lead junk yard debris from them, they look great for the 20mm.

The patina is about 4 levels of rust pigmentation, and 3 of dirt.  Especially for PA stuff, pigments make all the difference when you want something to look old and dirty.

Thanks for all the kind words!

Ok, 1) is it legible? and 2) If (1) is a yes, then does anyone get the reference?  Just checking to see if it was too esoteric

That appears to be one of Michi's containers :

I agree, I think it's Michi's design.  I think Michi made them and sold the rights in some manner to Ainsty, but he could tell you guys the details better.
