This is another kind of funding on the Patreon page. It don't use a fixed sum like KS. In this case it is about spending monthly money to make every month a few youtube videos.

There are levels from $1-$15.

His page on Patreon is http://www.patreon.com/AwesomePaintJob#.

Here the text from the Patreon page from him:

Thanks for visiting the APJ Patreon!

    Who I Am.
I'm a Navy Vet who has been painting miniatures for tabletop war games since 2008.  While I was learning the craft I noticed that I was reading a lot, and usually not grasping certain techniques just by reading them.  I decided to look on YouTube and didn't find much.  From that point I decided to make videos of my own, teaching "visual learners" like myself, how to paint their models.

    Why I Need Your Help.
Making YouTube videos is tough. When I have free time, I spend it on making tutorials so that you (The Fans!) can watch them for free. While I do receive a modest revenue for making YouTube videos, this money goes directly back into keeping my internet connection, and whatever little bit is left is spent on models/paint etc.

Commissions pay the rent so I have to do that  full time, and ONLY make videos when I have a chance to.  I'd like to change that and make videos full time which I plan to be 3-5 videos a week. I have never done before because of the commission stuff.

    What You Get.
As a supporter you will have a direct influence on what I paint or share on the channel.  Future content will be discussed and voted on for each month.  Then we can see how the subs react with your input on my videos.  It'll be fun!

    Monthly Milestones
These goals are going to benefit everyone subbed to the channel and is directly controlled by the Patrons.  I plan on doing my normal videos and as we all know, I usually only do "troop" size models. I would love to do things like vehicles, tanks and flyers or covering every unit in a new army so you guys have a complete guide on how to paint your army.  The larger models cost more and the tutorials would be significantly longer.  That's why I need your help.

Now is not a good time :(
Even if you can't contribute money, you can still help by telling people about this page and spreading the word.

Thank you for your support, and above all, thanks for watching!

Well, good luck to him and all, but there are plenty of very good tutorial vids available for free.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

I have to agree with Cubs, I'd rather spend my money on more minis etc. or a magazine and watch existing free tutorials. No offence and good luck though.

I really like his videos, there arer some good ideas, but I prefer tutorials without using Airbrush.
I'm not sure if I spend $3/months and have the chance to make suggestion what he do next. I like the idea.
