River Transport.
« on: July 08, 2014, 01:28:35 AM »
So I was looking around EBay for a small vehicle for Adele to go on short trips up river on, and decided on this. I'm wondering how much resistance the soldier is going to put up when it comes to removing him. Hope it's not like pulling a tooth.  ;) May have to get two, one for Indy as well.

I've got one of these swamp rats, too.  The funny thing is the gun is broken in exactly the same place! lol

Too modern for me to use as is, the bits are useful, & the hull shape is sampan-ish

We'll see how they turn out.

Great finds!

Well it arrived and first thing was to eject the soldier, which came out pretty easily. Next was to remove the stickers from the sides, (which thanks to an Aussie product that smells like a Hong Kong bro....,) well smells sweet as anyways, they came off easy as.

Wonder what Rick thought of it all?  ;)

I got two of these Swamp Rats boats on eBay after seeing your post. Just waiting for them to arrive now. Keep your photos coming so I can steal emulate your good ideas!

6 bucks? German ebay has this thing for 36,90€ + 5,90€ postage ... what a rip off ...
For those interested - or to see if I am making things up, click <a href="http://www.ebay.de/itm/Ferngesteuertes-Boot-Kustenwache-RC-Schiff-ferngesteuert-inkl-Akku-434-/131237661841?pt=RC_Modellbau&hash=item1e8e5fcc91; target=&quot;_blank" target="_blank">here

I'd love to have one or two ... but not for that price ...
