Excellent! The skin and eyes really make the figure, set off of course by the dark green robes; very nice.

I was going to paint something else last night, but Korm was looking lonely, so Yerl got done instead :)

Both astropaths are wonderful sculpts. I very much enjoyed painting Yerl up :)

Yes - 1987 vintage, from the very first set of 40k releases :)

And one of the best of that set of old sculpts too.

Great painting!

I'm with Cheetor on this one - great sculpt, and even better painting. This is a fantastic project.

You can't go wrong with late 1980s Jes Goodwin sculpts in my view :) Glad you like him folks!

@jimbibbly - I need to overcome my scratchbuilding butterflies to progress the tanky thing further. Maybe I'll have a stab over the weekend.

I got a bonus evening of painting in last night, and decided to put some paint on my horse-skulled oddity, after several weeks of indecision. Equus is an Ecclesiarchy combat servitor:

Equus is a conversion of the flagellent from the (very) old Citadel Fighters range, with the addition of a plastic horse skull and a sword from my bits box. I added some trailing cables and a bionic eye to give a more 40k look :)

While I painted up Equus, I also painted this little chaos familiar which will probably be pressed into service as a xenos pet of some kind!
