Thank you Vanvlak - I've got some russian whites to do now as well as some scenery. I've made some buildings which are in various stages of completion.

I may post those up for some tips on how to finish them off as I'm a bit stuck.

Regulator - Thanks a lot , I have used grey a lot now, I have also tried foundry storm green on some but I think that the grey has to win out.

Hey Grimm

The colour scheme is GW Foundation Adeptus Battle Grey followed by Codex Grey followed by Fortress Grey for the peaked caps.

For the tunics on the fur caps I experimented with with I think Tamya Filed blue, medium blue and GW space wolves grey. Doesn't quite show up in the photo's though.

Did you also try khaki tones? I think blue-grey uniform would also looks great.

A little with my fur hatted ones the one on the reight was kommando khaki:

But I find khaki one of those infuriating colours to paint is brownish is it greenish. I do like the blue grey but liked Autons in his chinese takeaway. I've got foundry storm blue hoping that might work?

Bjorn : Thanks for your comments I like them the best too  :D the skin was tough though.

Well, Foundry storm blue might looks cool. I used it for a little chinese  squadron and it works well together. The khaki you've used looks nice but your grey uniforms look just pretty awesome.
All told, You should paint a testfigure which is colored in storm-blue. Just try out and find the best combination.

Thank you very much Regulator I don't think its bad for GW paints.

I often think that Vallejo are better but then I struggle with mixing and shading.

What I am going for at the moment is one army of grey peaked caps and then one of a mixture of colours and later some others in storm blue if it looks good.

I am going to use T&T which is going to be fun. I have a few ideas for senarios but need scenery so this is the last painting figures for a bit while I concentrate on huts, houses and walls and trees.

Cheers

Looking good. I am also looking forward to seeing your buildings. :)
