Tell us about these tufts then... :D

Nothing to tell really, I bought a tuft making machine and now I make my own tufts!  lol

Hmmm. I think not. I bought a gazillion 10mm pirates which have gone absolutely nowhere... Think I'll wait to see how far you chaps stick with this before plunging in  ;)

Don't hold back, I think you should get in now so when GoT is 'so last year dahling' and 10mm LotR is massively popular and everyone is doing it you'll be able to say 'I was there at the beginning'.  :)

We're all 100% committed, I've sold all my 28mm stuff to fund it* and Nick's looking for a buyer for his Boot Hill range** so he can build a huge dwarf army (assuming that's not an oxymoron).  ;)

You know it makes sense   :D

** not true either

It's quite therapeutic, once you get used to the occasional static shocks; they're not painful or dangerous but do make you jump a bit.

I bought the Mk1 (dish) version and use it with an aluminium sheet to get a larger surface area. I've also modified a flour sifting cup to charge the metal sieve so I can load it with the static grass and sprinkle it onto the larger terrain areas directly - that's how I did the long grass under the trees on the farm tile.

You need to make sure your hands are glue free when you do it or you end up with flocked skin.

You can also use it for flocking your nails if you've a mind too; here's a picture of Malamute's that he insisted I did before one of his recent big nights out (I've lost the picture of his toenails)

Blimey! That's something new.

Thanks again for the info! I think that's gonna be my next new toy. In the meantime, nice work on the farm. ;)
