Mantic Deadzone second drop: sci-fi zombies!
« on: August 19, 2014, 09:44:57 AM »
Kickstarters, love em or hate them they drop stuff through your letter box long after you've forgotten all about it. Mana from Nottingham.  ;)

So, got them through the post yesterday all 13 sprues. Bloody lovely and looking at them some of the torsos will also make great genestealer hybrids.

Looking forward to using these as flood hosts for Halo, my deadspace plans and some possible stealers. Oh maybe some zombies too. ;)

Never thought of that before! Thanks for the idea...  8)

The torso and head tacked together on the right are a good 'stealer' look. A little nod to the hooded robes you see in more stable later generations.

I'm feeling a bit miffed I didn't get these; I received a drop yesterday too, more rules and a few more enforcers, including one model I hadn't realised would be metal - Sgt Howlett (think Iron Wolverine Man), quite nicely done.

I got my second shipment over the weekend too, and was pretty happy with the Deadzone zombie sprue. I ended up with 19 of them (that's like 90+ zombies...what was I thinking). I was missing my entire Asterian starter and cards, but the zombies still stole the show over all the other bits.

I'll likely add in some other zombie bits from my parts box to vary things up but am generally very impressed!

These look great, and I can't believe it there actually proper plastic! Been having a horrible time trying to stick together the Deadzone resin/plastic hybrid stuff together, I am at the point where I don't care how it looks as long as it sticks! Terrible idea that medium.
