Mantic Deadzone
« on: 14 January 2015, 12:19:11 PM »
I painted the infinity types in the 'traditional' white armour to start with
and they looked shit
For workman painters like me, painting white armour is a nightmare, it just looks rough, like I've tippexed them. So I cleaned them off and started again.
They work for me anyway

I sat looking at these for ages, couldn't decide on a paint scheme. Then just went for it.
Again, they look okay for me

They look great to me Steders.  The green scheme looks convincingly near-future.
This is my boomstick!

I agree with you about painting white. I did it for the Studio McVey Battle for Alabaster figs, and I was not happy with the outcome.

Like the green approach you took with these, so I'll probably do something similar when I get around to painting mine.

I've only painted a few white models and none turned out quite like I wanted.  Painting a whole force in white would be a nightmare.

These all look great.  Thanks for sharing them.

Very nice work on these.  I'm just starting my Rebs and this is quite inspirational.

Very effective I really like what you have done.

I have that game and haven't painted much yet, found the putting together painful with super glue sometimes not sticking the buts together but sticking me to the bits  lol

They say you should use a PVC glue could anyone recommend a good one?

Thanks

Those arm blades look really good. I've had my Enforcers built for nearly a year and haven't done anything paint-wise other than primer them gray.
