Splendid work - mix of Aventine and Victrix?   Loved the basing, especially the 'hidden' dice square at the rear.  Very useful idea.

Garry

Hi Garry, Yes another unit - pretty much my standard operating procedure these days, still takes some thought as to which models are mixed in etc.  Also starting to mix in some more eventide shields as well to break up the shield uniformity a bit more.  Variation in hight and slight variations in equipment in my mind make sense, equipping such large numbers of men, general uniformity in appearance would be hard to achieve and i would say the weapons and shields would as much as one could expect.

Greeks and Republican Romans! What more can a guy ask for?

Your minis and games are a pleasure to view. You're club must be fantastic to be a part of.

And this thread... is one of my favorites.

Thanks for all the photos and updates! Keep it up.

Correct, Von Lucky. We can't form a club because none of us will accept any of the others as members.

Yeah the "club" would be considered more a band of rejects that no one else likes or would put up with........ ;D

Even Von Lucky rejects us.......

Seeing as how you are now doing Republican Romans, have any of your club gang members thought about doing Carthaginians?

Carthaginians have some way cool units!

Well another Year's End Approach's.

I think by my reckoning I have painted about 150 Miniatures this year.

Final Completed unit for the romans this Year is a unit Allied Italian Spearmen/Triarii

I also finally got a tripod a new backdrop and started using Adobe Lightroom for Mobile phones.

So I retook photo's of all the romans from this year. I know a rehash of previous work but I believe they look better with the the new approach. I hope to have completed in the first week of the new Year a unit of Roman Cavalry.

Anyway Happy New Year to all on Lead Adventure and wishing you all had a safe a Merry Christmas.

Kind Regards

Jon-Paul

Super work, Nevyen. Oi! Those look really, really good! If I could only afford 28mm Republican Romans!!!! But my wife would kill me if I started that. I'll have to settle for 15mm.

But those are super, looks like a company's advert.
