Back in the wastes, it looks like some gunners have moved in! And one's wearing zinc!

These battle-hardened mercenaries bring all manner of weaponry to the tabletop.

Anyone for caps?

The models here are from modiphius' Fallout Wasteland Warfare. Assembly was a tad tricky and the bases were murdered (by me) but if you don't look too close it's fine.

As for this game, well I've got one more project and it's done. The mechanics seem pretty nice and the tutorial missions introduce things gradually, which is nice. Maybe I'll play it one of these days...

Power armour and Laz rifles? Oh man theres a real arms race going on here.

They look good Pete, bit soft on the detail, but 100% fallout style so cannot argue there. :)

Cheers mate, I'd like to think I've gotten pretty decent at rust.

However, not everyone's dusty and rusty in the future...

Some folks are lucky enough to live in a space ship!

If you see an alien, some people say it's lucky.

Lucky for WHO exactly, I couldn't say...

At least he's all dressed up for the occasion.

The model, as per most of my more recent entries, is from Fallout Wasteland Warfare. This one was honestly pretty fun to paint. The fancy bases are especially fun when they're not covered in tiny bottlecaps.

And now I've done all the models the game came with. Now, I just have to squeeze in a game sometime!

Indeed Captain.

That is the local dialect you see, translated into the old King's English as:
Space Alien, Nice

Sometimes it's better to just roll with it where the constable's involved.

Verily!

Looks like we've got a few scouts poking around.

Tom, Tim and Tubbs take it upon themselves to dig up anything of value to trade for caps, even though nobody really asked them to. Gotta keep New Silverton's economy rolling, after all.

The shovel isn't actually that useful due to its size, so Tim mostly uses it as a club until they need some extra leverage.

Over there, lads! Loot ahoy!

The models are reaper's boy campers. I've been meaning to pick them up for years, but a sudden drop in things in my pile of opportunity (along with some birthday dollarydoos) encouraged me to finally pull the trigger. I added a backpack from Pig Iron Productions, the shovel from GW's steam tank and a torch from Malifaux to fancy them up a bit more. Overall, a bit fiddly at times but a fun project.

And this is where I announce that this might be my last PA project for a minute. There's nothing else I'm particularly looking around for and I think you can agree...

I'm sorted for many situations.

Nice conversion on the boy scouts! I like niche figure packs like those...figuring out a situation to then get them onto the tabletop is the challenge!  lol

The scouts turned out awesome Pete, the backpack looks perfectly huge to carry wasteland treasures.

Yes I agree with Mike they are so unique, good choice pete.

Cheers! I've wanted to paint these ones up for a while, but there's also a matter of the money!  lol

He's got the strong back perk!  lol

Speaking of lads with strong backs, it looks like we have some Misplaced Norwegian Lads!

On the left is ol' fierce Baelog with double axes, swift Erik with his jump pack and stout Olaf, but who can say where they've ended up this time?

Still, so long as there's platforms to jump on, wrongs to right and mead to drink, the lads will probably be fine.

The models are Einherjar from Wargames Atlantic. They were technically free, since they came with a magazine which someone had already read (and put a hole through the front cover). What possessed me to do up GW bases in a post apocalyptic style is beyond me, but they turned out okay in the end AND I still have some other dwarven greeblies I can add to other models. There was another head I could have added to Baelog that would be closer to the thing I was inspired by when I picked the models up, but a dwarf without a full beard is just wrong, if you ask me.

They look like proper post-Apocalyptic dwarves roaming the wastes. Were they born dwarves or are they post-human mutants?
