Fantastic paintjobs, as usual. Really, really good blues.

Stunningly good. I agree with Brandlin, the trousers are excellent and really stand out (difficult when everything is so good!).

Beautiful figures, and beautiful painting.  :D

Everyone is going on about the blue - which is very well done, but what blows me away is the smoothness of shading and the tones in the cream and moss kinda colours of their cloth. You could paint me an army in those colours any day!

I agree with Brandlin here. The blues are lovely, but the cream and other neutral colours are even better! :-*

True, but for me blue is the hardest color to do good. And when I see these paintjobs, it's the blues which really baffle me :)

Thanks again for the comments everyone.

Blue can be one of those colours that's tricky to highlight smoothly. I kept it nice and simple here though. A base coat of Vallejo Extra Opaque Heavy Blue with VMC Light Green Blue added for highlights. The good thing with these models is there aren't huge single areas that need painting (like on a space marine for example) where subtle layering is needed. Small areas with lots of edges and little bits of detail are much quicker to paint up and you can rely more on the sharp edge highlighting to make things 'pop' (not that these models were quick to do though  ;) ).

The off-white colours, for those interested were VMC Medium Grey highlighted with VMC Silvergrey (the cream coloured areas) and VMC Light Green Blue highlighted with VMC Silvergrey (the whiter areas).

Indeed, amazing eye candy. I can't wait to see how the Nomads will turn out, assuming that you will work on them that is. :)

Yep, I'd rather look at these than the Corvus Belli's studio paintjobs.

Awesome.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Missed this earlier, fantastic painting!

I've got to get some photos of my Haqqislam Infinity force that's just about finished.

CB does really nice figures, don't they?

Glad I missed this thread earlier, otherwise I'd not dared to paint my own Infinity minis. Superbly done. :-*
I take it you're not using an airbrush? The smooth blending is outstanding, and I would love to see an illustrated tutorial just for that.
EDIT: Forgot to add, I really like the facing markings, might steal that idea.
