These are stunning, but I'm just in love with the Nomad ones!  :-*

I've finally got around to doing some more pieces for this commission. A handful of Nomads and a couple of civilians, which I think are my favourites as they're a bit different to all the other models.

Still more in the 'to do' pile (I really should check that big box to see what exactly is in it!).

Astonishing, really. The tights on the civilian are unbelievably smooth.

What do the base markings represent?
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

It's just a way of showing the forward 180 degree LOS. I don't tend to care for base markings but the client requested something to aid in gameplay.  :)

Just read through this thread for the first time. What a joy to see. Your painting is absolutely amazing.

I gave up trying to figure out who my favorite painter years ago, but Stone Cold Lead has always been in the running. I find the Infinity figures intimidating as hell, but your painting makes me want to give it a try anyway. I may never make a figure look as good, but I'd love to try.

I found them horribly daunting before I actually started work on them. I think the studio paint jobs really make them seem an intimidating prospect. They are still a bit of a time sink though especially when you include assembly and clean up. It was a welcome change to move onto some Bob Murch pulp stuff after doing these.  ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone.  :)

Stunning stuff - I like it all so much, I'm not sure where to begin with the praise!

In no particular order, I especially like:

- The unit logos
- The "feel" of the Hellcat paintjobs (which I think help the models look a bit more heavyweight)
- GoGo Marlene's boots (which I usually see done as stockings, but which look really good as Fashionista thigh-highs).
