You are making it impossible to resist going back down to London. Between Walshs and 4D I am going to go nuts. Any other modeling gems or must go miniature shops down there that I need to know about?
Well you could always go to Hockley in Birmingham, Walsh's has a shop there and there's other tool suppliers near them all around the Jewellery Quarter.
I was going to mention 4D, but no that's about it. On the rubberised horsehair when you search ebay for it look for it as car upholstery material rather than modelling, it's a bigger lump for cheaper.
Odd, I've always had great service from EMA
I've given up on them since the FREE CATALOGUE. IT turned up, same as the previous catalogue I'd bought only no price list, phoned them up and asked if they could send a price list to be told there wasn't one if you want to know the prices look them up on the web... what's the point of that?
Would love to know of a reputable US equivalent. Those folks say they ship worldwide, but the exchange rate is unkind to US buyers.
Try a google for jewellery, or however you spell it there, tools and you should find similar to Walsh's.
One thing I am looking out for, which EMA do, is the scalpel blade which is a fine toothed saw - if anyone sees one from someone else give me a shout please.
