I was going to get into this, but shipping is really high for Europe (about 50% of pledge price!)

Yep. Overseas shipping's usually high for resin and plastic in bulk. I skipped out on a UK-based dungeon terrain KS for this reason.

Search on "Dungeon tiles by Walter". His KS just closed, but ask if you can still back his project. He's charging $10 for internationals. However, this is his first KS and he's a "one man shop" unlike Frontline Games. But he's only generated 1K from his KS, so it's not like he's overwhelmed with orders like many KS are. Good luck!

Yeah anything in the U.S. is going to be nearly suicidal for shipping overseas.  Our postal service is beyond bankrupt and the two major carriers here have no interest in small time shipping for normal customers or small shops.

It's essentially impossible to ship anything to any place in Europe (let alone the rest of the world) for less than $25 unless it's an envelop/letter or you have some kind of business contract with FedEx/UPS.  A small box with some weight?  Forget about it - easily $40-55 or more.

Shipping/mail is not subsidized at all in the States.  Don't hold it against the vendors...it's just impossible here.  It's why I had to go and make a PDF version of the game I sell, because it sells for $25-30 and international shipping from the manufacturer is at minimum  $25.

Silliness. :-[

I have no idea...all I know that I can get a package for a single little plastic toy shipped to my house in 2-3 days from China for $5...INCLUDING shipping.

I don't get it.

Add-Ons Only Pledge Level Added!

Good news! There is now an “Add-Ons Only” pledge level for those of you who just want the add-ons. So you can now pledge at the $7 Level and get all the add-ons you want! As much as we would love to ship these to our international backers at the same amount, international backers will need to increase their pledge to help cover international shipping.

Add ons only: Would have been a great idea.....apart from the still outrageous shipping costs.

Pay the extra international shipping cost listed on the Add on AND wait until after the KS to be told how much extra on top of that you are going to be charged.
