To echo the others - an excellent unit.  Very effective brushwork.

Thank you.

I've put the finishing touches on another 12 Great War Miniatures WWI Germans for the Verdun 1916 Project. This time including a MG08/15 team and some nasty looking trench-raiders.

Splendid and a great finish on the trench armour in particular.

Thanks chaps.

NB: The MG08/15 is not for Verdun games but if I use them in games set after April 1917 it will make an appearance.

Trench raiders are magnificent, well done mate!  Just like something out of Charley's War.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I'm back from my hols so it's time to crack on with some painting.

This week, it's a dozen more german infantry, including a flame thrower.

I have also made a start on getting the terrain together including 2ft of double barbed wire, four entrenchments and other scatter.

More details, including how to make your own flames on Scrivsland

Scrivs, you've done it again and deflected me from what I'm meant to be working on!  We're playing 1918 Chain of Command at Lard Island tomorrow.  I'm just knocking out some terrain pieces for that.
