Love the report.
Thanks to your blog and photos I have started on my own retreat from Russia.
Yeah, me too!

I bought all the Perry original releases as soon as they were on the market but sold them due to not really having the time to paint them as much as they deserve.... I've got to admit that I was also put off by the potentially dazzling array of uniforms mixed with 'local' clobber too- since the expansion of the range I have really regretted selling the originals and it's a subject that I will return to at some point.
I have lots of terrain done, not much in the way of figures painted.
Do show your terrain, it's something that's always worth looking at. It's quite fascinating as to how different people go about producing snow/winter terrain.
Only ten French and five mounted and five dismounted Cossacks painted.
Well, we all start a project from somewhere- I've got 8 Afghans and Five Brits painted up for my NWF project at the mo' but pictures will be appearing in the Colonial section all the same- I fnd it a great way of keeping 'my fingers in many pies' motivation going

More will be done in the next week or two.
Then to a game and battle report.
Looking forward to it

Darrell.
