My January goal has been achieved.

18 stands of boyz
8 stands of gretchin
6 stands of nobz
12 Bonebreakas

Not bad for my first month.  Thanks for the comments and encouragement.

Here you can see the army to date.

The boyz.

Close up of a bonebreaka.  I'm very happy with how these turned out.  There will be many more vehicles to follow because I really like the way the models look.

The mob of bonebreakas.

Total points
NetEpic - 1200 points
NetEA - 850 points

As always you can see a few more pictures and details on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/01/tale-of-epic-gamer-january-goal-achieved.html

Next month I will be working on my Biel-tan Eldar force.

Well done, Sean!

So I hear.  But after a bit of statistical analysis it has been determined that the improved speed characteristics do not over compensate for the increased target priority that also comes along with a red paint job.   ;)

I thought Orks always said 'never tell me the odds...'

Oh. Wait.  :D

I thought about that too.  I wonder if I did the skull on the front in red if that would work.

I was going to suggest a splash of red, even some flames, with a white skull in the middle, but this pretty impressive.

...
Next month I will be working on my Biel-tan Eldar force.

I'll keep hunting in the basement.

You want some fly guys? The Full Thrust ideas for 'em have kinda died.

Thanks Doug.  What do you mean by fly guys?  I'm up for anything, though.

Sorry, pansy air force.  lol

I had some idea for semi-organic spaceships from Eldar Epic bombers and fighters, but have given up on those.

I'll have 'em by the store sometime for you to decide.

I got to play with them!

I got to die in droves!

I got to play the(m) in G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T.? Most of us around the table know those rules better, and it seemed to work out spiffy. Oh, that's not how an ork would speak...

Thanks, Sean!

Wait, where's the AAR? I need to hear out it came out. Stupid hoomies!

For February I will be working on some Eldar.  As it turns out I actually got a few models done last month in between orks.  I seem to have a little trouble focusing.

My goal for February is going to be a bit large since I've already made some progress.

The goal is 2 Jetbike hosts, a Guardian host, and a Defender host (Guardians with Falcons).

I already have 1 Jetbike host finished.

And I've finished a detachment of Guardians. (there will be three detachments in each host)

I've also got a whole host of Guardians ready to be based.

And I've completed the first of the Falcons. (there will be 9 total this month)

You can see more pictures on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/02/tale-of-epic-gamer-february-2015.html

As always, I'd love to hear what you all think and I'm open to suggestions (even if I don't follow them).

Those are some very nice forces. Reminds me to continue my 6mm Tau army. Keep it coming, those really are beautiful.

The project continues with a flight of Falcons that will be used to upgrade a Guardian detachment to a Defender detachment.

And I have my second Windrider Host ready to be based.

Progress is coming along well as I work toward my February goal.  I've got some more Guardians primed and just need to dig up some Warlocks to make some command stands.

More pics can be found on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/02/tale-of-epic-gamer-february-progress.html
