I'm glad you guys like them.  I've been kind of wandering, from army to army, but that is helping to keep me interested.  I've surprised myself with how much progress I've made so far.  The Orks are coming along very well and I will have a unit of Goff tanks finished before the month is out.

I'm thinking some Speed Freaks will be showing up when the Orks come back to my paint table.  Probably some buggies, traks, and lots of bikes.  I'm not sure how well the ink/wash approach will work with red, but I've been surprised how well it worked with the other colors, so I'm hopeful at this point.

The winning player isn't always the better player.

I've finished this months goal a little early.

Goff gunwagons that will serve as Gutrippas

Bad Moon Nobz

All the additions this month.

In my last post, I only showed 8 Dreadnoughts, but I managed to get 12 finished.

You can see more details on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/07/tale-of-epic-gamer-july-goal-achieved.html

August is in the books and I've another update on my painting project.

I finished a pretty big lot this month.  The pictures are a bit dark.  I will try to get some better pictures at some point.

Exocine Brood

One of two Biovore Broods

Carnifex Brood (these will be used as Razorfex when I find my other Carnifex models)

One of three Hormagaunt Broods

One of three Termagaunt Broods

Here you can see all the models I painted this month.

Great progress that totals 1,500 points using the NetEpic Gold rules.

I need to paint more command units to be able to legally field what I have painted so far.

I am also thinking about adding ripper swarms, but don't know what to use?  Have any of you done ripper swarms for you epic army?

While these guys are not technically part of my established schedule, I picked them up at a convention and thought I would paint a few models to see how they look.

They are the Andrayadas from Dark Realm Miniatures.

They will likely be used as Necron proxies.

Very easy to paint and they look nice.

Really nice work. The bases set off the bright colours nicely, and the remind me of both SM2 and E:A at the same time!  8)

September has passed us by and it is time for another update.

I had Eldar on my paint table again and had again was able to get a good chunk of models painted.  Below are a few close up shots of some of my work.

Grav Tanks

Wave Serpents and War Walkers

Here is a shot of all the stuff I got painted during the month.

And here is what I've painted so far this year.

Actually this is only 3 months worth of work.  Not a bad little force.

I still have stuff I want to add, but this army is done.  At least for now.

Another month into this project and another pile of painted models to share.

Tyranids were on my table in October.  I needed to paint up some command/synapse creatures to balance out the force a little.

I completed:

A Dominatrix.

3 Tyranid Warrior Broods.

3 Genestealer Broods

October's work

The army to date.

Some better pictures of previous work.

Carnifexes

Biovores

Exocrine

More pictures and details can be found on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/11/tale-of-epic-gamer-october-2015-goal.html

The Imperial Guard are on my paint table this month.

My plan is to complete a Beastmen Company, finish the Leman Russ Company, and 2 squadrons of Sentinels.

I've still got a lot of work to get done before the end of the month, but I think I can do it.

More on my blog.  http://gamingandshooting.blogspot.com/2015/11/tale-of-epic-gamer-november-2015.html

I am a bit late with my update on this project, but a new house (and renovation) has really put a damper on my painting.

With that said, I have finished up my Imperial Guard project and took a few pictures.

Abhuman Company

Leman Russ Company

Sentinel Squadron

The whole army in all its glory.

Very nice work you show us here!

(That shamefully reminds me that I bought minis to start playing netEpic 2 years ago... and never painted a single model. :( )
